Licence

Membership and resource terms.

Effective 4 September 2026

Paid memberships and selected digital resources are available for business customers. Please read these terms before paying. Completing checkout confirms that you are purchasing for business or professional use and agree to these terms.

Resources are licensed, not sold

Steady Culture retains ownership of its intellectual property. A download gives the named member or purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the resource on the terms stated here and in any licence notice supplied with it.

Permitted use

The original recipient may use a licensed resource internally within one organisation, make reasonable working copies, and adapt a resource expressly supplied in an editable format for that organisation’s internal HR use. Free resources marked for personal business use may be used only by the recipient’s own business.

Prohibited use

Resources must not be resold, sublicensed, redistributed, shared with unrelated organisations, uploaded to public or commercial template libraries, published online, used to train or build a competing product, stripped of branding or used in a misleading or unlawful way.

Watermarks and licence identifiers

Resources may contain visible Steady Culture branding, watermarks, licence codes, member details or order identifiers. Removing, obscuring or attempting to bypass those protections is prohibited.

Professional boundaries

A resource is general guidance, not legal advice or a guarantee of compliance or outcome. Employment matters depend on their facts, applicable policies and current law. The user remains responsible for checking suitability, making decisions and obtaining specialist legal advice where appropriate.

Membership boundaries

A membership provides only the materials and written support expressly listed for the selected tier. It is not an unlimited HR retainer and does not include formal investigations, complex case management, substantial drafting, representation or specialist legal advice unless separately agreed.

Membership billing and cancellation

Professional membership costs £49 per month and Business membership costs £179 per month. Payment is taken when the customer subscribes and automatically each month thereafter until cancelled. There is no minimum term. To prevent the next renewal, the customer must cancel before the next billing date by using any subscription-management option supplied by Stripe or emailing hello@steadyculture.co.uk. Access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period. Part-month refunds are not normally provided unless required by law or expressly agreed.

Access and delivery

Membership access instructions and purchased digital resources are sent to the email used at checkout within one business day. Customers should contact Steady Culture if they have not received them after that time. Customers are responsible for supplying a working email address and checking junk or spam folders.

Digital resource purchases

The Employer Grievance Starter Pack costs £29 as a one-time payment. It is supplied electronically for the purchasing organisation’s internal business use. Because these resources contain general material rather than advice on a customer’s complete circumstances, customers should review suitability before use and request case-specific support where necessary.

Refunds and problems

Because purchased documents are digital business resources, refunds are not available for a change of mind once the files have been supplied. This does not affect rights concerning files that are faulty, inaccessible, incorrectly supplied or materially different from their description. The customer should contact Steady Culture promptly so that a replacement or other appropriate remedy can be provided.

Suspension and termination

A resource licence or membership access may be suspended or terminated for material misuse, attempted redistribution, non-payment or breach of these terms. Restrictions on copying, redistribution and intellectual-property misuse continue after access ends.

Changes and contact

These terms may be updated for future downloads, memberships or legal changes. The version supplied or accepted for a particular purchase will apply to that transaction. Questions can be sent to hello@steadyculture.co.uk.
