Website terms.
Effective 4 September 2026
Using this website
By using this website or downloading a free resource, you agree to these website terms and any specific resource licence supplied with the download. If you do not agree, please do not use the content or resources.
General information, not legal advice
Website content and resources provide general HR and people-management information. They are not legal advice, legal representation or a substitute for advice based on the complete facts of a particular situation. Employment law and official guidance change, and users should check current requirements.
No consultancy relationship from browsing
Viewing the website, downloading a free resource, joining an interest list or sending an initial enquiry does not create a consultancy relationship or require either party to proceed. Work begins only after the service, scope, fees, responsibilities and applicable terms have been agreed in writing.
Memberships and digital resources
Paid memberships and digital resources are intended for employers and organisations purchasing for business or professional use. Their payment, renewal, cancellation, delivery and licence conditions are set out in the membership and resource terms and in the information shown at checkout. Stripe processes the payment under its own security and privacy arrangements.
Services and prices shown
Prices described as “from” are starting prices and not binding quotations. The final fee depends on scope, complexity, urgency, document volume and the support required. A written quotation or scope will be provided before paid work begins.
Accuracy and availability
Reasonable care is taken when preparing content, but Steady Culture does not promise that every page or resource will remain complete, current or continuously available. Content, services and downloads may be corrected, updated, suspended or withdrawn.
Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the website design, wording, brand assets, guides, templates and downloads belong to Steady Culture or are used with permission. They may not be copied, republished, sold, redistributed, uploaded to a template library, used to train a competing product or stripped of Steady Culture branding without written permission. Limited internal use of a resource is governed by the membership and resource terms.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, circumvent resource protections, scrape content for commercial reuse or use the website in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
External services
Links and third-party services are provided for convenience. Their availability, security, content and privacy practices are controlled by the relevant provider. A link does not amount to an endorsement or guarantee.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to those limits, Steady Culture is not responsible for loss caused by relying on general website information without an agreed consultancy engagement, or for loss caused by events or third-party services outside its reasonable control. Consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in the privacy notice. Please do not send names or sensitive employee information in an initial enquiry.
Governing law
These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory rights relating to the courts available where you live.
